1.-Change the player that will play in the selected position. To do this choose the player you want from the list.

2.-Selecting a more specific order for the player who plays in that position. According to the order selected the player will play more advanced, more backward or more centrally for that position, and will intervene more or less in certain areas of the field. The skills a player will need to play in a position will also change based on the order given.

The possible positions are::
  • Goalkeeper:
    The important skill is 'Keeper'.

  • Central Midfielder:
The playmaker. The most important skills are `Creativity´ and `Passing´.
  • Defensive Midfielder:
Midfielder that also helps with the central defense.
  • Attacking Midfielder:
He's a midfielder that also helps the forwards through the central attack.
  • Right Midfielder:
Player that helps creating plays but with less importance than a Central Midfielder. Also helps with right defense and attack.
  • Left Midfielder:
Player that helps creating plays but with less importance than a Central Midfielder. Also helps with left defense and attack.

  • Left Side Midfielder:

3.- Give personal orders to each player:
  • Shoot from range or Enter the area and shoot:
To `enter the area and shoot´ the `dribble´ skill is used and once in the area, the `scoring´ skill is considered, but only one half compared with the `shoot from range´ option. Therefore, to shoot from range, high-scoring is required, and to enter the area and shoot, high-dribbling is required. Also, a good keeper can stop long-range-shoots and defenders can stop forwards' dribble with their `tackling´ skill.

  • Pass to anyone or Passes always to the same player:

    Soon.

  • Try to shoot or Cross the balls:
To cross the ball to the area, wingers use their `passes´ skill. Rival defenders will use their `defending´ skill to stop crosses. Also, a winger will cross the ball as long as the forwards `scoring´ skill is better than his own `scoring´ skill.

  • Zonal defense or Man mark:

    Soon.

  • Personal attitude:
It is possible to choose how much effort the players will put. If you don't choose any personal attitude, the player will play as chosen to the whole team.

  • Play dirty:
When using this option players will do harder entrances. The probability of injurying the opponent player is higher, and also the probability of receiving cautions. Players might even be sanctioned by several matches.

  • Injure the opponent:

    Soon.

  • Look for a yellow card:
You can ask your player to intentionally look for a yellow card during the match. This can be useful if the player is about to receive an accumulated-yellow-cards sanction and you want to control when will the player be sanctioned.

Clicking on `Accept´ you save the player individual orders, but the line-up won't be saved yet.
To save your line-up you have to click on 'Save'.

If you click on `Cancel´, changes to the player instructions won't be saved.

Tactical instructions

Defensive Tactics
  • Normal
The default tactic. The team will use all it's abilities equally.

  • Pressing
Defenders will press on rival midfielders trying not to let them play freely. With this tactic midfield and possession is increased, but defense is decreased. The midfield profit depends on the defenders `tackling´ skill. The defense lost depends on the defenders `defending´ skill. Therefore, this tactic is good for high `tackling´ and low `defending´ defenders.

  • Fall back
Defenders will stay behind, waiting for rival attacks. With this tactic midfield and possession is decreased, but defense is increased. The midfield lost depends on the defenders `tackling´ skill. The defense profit depends on the defenders `defending´ skill. Therefore, this tactic is good for high `defending´ and low `tackling´ defenders.

  • Cause Offside
When using this tactic, defenders will try to perform the offside trap to stop rival attacks. This defensive tactic is more efficient when used against `Counter-attack´ and `Perform long passes´ tactics.

When using this tactic, every time your rival fails to score on an attack, you get a chance to perform a long pass counter-attack. Midfielders will use their `passes´ skill to perform this attacks. Forwards `disassociation´ and `control´ skills will be used to succesfully receive this passes. Sometimes, the forwards and defenders speed difference might be decisive. Rival defenders will use their `defending´ skill to stop these attacks.
